About The Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Stock Controller to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career and join a global business with a £2 billion turnover. As a Stock Controller you will work alongside the Operations Team and will be responsible for overseeing and identifying site stock discrepancies and implement corrective actions to improve. Shift Pattern - 4 on 4 off Days - 7am - 7pm Your key responsibilities will include: You will investigate root causes to any stock discrepancies and implement appropriate corrective actions Identify ways of improvement following root cause analysis Record, report and investigate of all stock write offs at the site Make necessary stock amendments on the system and be involved in physical stock takes of stock holding at the end of financial quarter You will ensure that all pallet movements are correctly scanned onto a system and report/log any movement You will investigate any operation issues related to stocks Ensure that an end of day write on/write off report is summarised and submitted to Stocks Team Leader You will also manage the pallets the trays count What are we looking for? Previous experience of working in the Fresh Produce industry or within the Food Industry Have excellent analytical skills along with experience of working to KPI’s. Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal High attention to detail with experience of conducting audits Computer Literate with intermediate Excel knowledge as well as Microsoft Office. You should be reliable and flexible and ideally have the ability to work within a multi-functional FMCG environment What's in it for you?
