Job Highlights
We are looking for a Biosecurity Advisor to join Lanxess in our Material Protection Products Business Unit covering the north of England region from the Scottish border to Lincolnshire.
About the role!
Responsible for the full range of products within the Business Unit including Cleaners, Disinfectants, Water hygiene, covering the North of England region from the Scottish Borders to Lincolnshire. Reporting to the Head of Sales Disinfection UK & Ireland your key responsibilities are to support, maintain and grow the market share in the UK based on developing market and application knowledge and strengthening relationships with all key parties, including Integrators, Distributors, and end users.
As a Sales and Biosecurity Advisor you will join the UK and Ireland team managing a portfolio of customers including distribution partners and end users. You will promote, educate, train and support the implementation of the Lanxess Biosecurity Solutions Products in order to create, sustain and grow sales through direct and indirect sales.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Managing existing and developing new customers.
2. Staying alert and informed to all market developments and translating into potential business opportunities.
3. Developing close relationships with the existing and potential marketplace giving the business unit the edge over our competition.
4. Collaborate with other internal departments, CSR, Production, Sales team members.
Requirements
About You!
You could come from a sales background in a relevant industry, ideally within pigs or poultry, working with distributors or end users. Alternatively, you could be an end user such as a farm manager with a practical knowledge of product use, farming practices, common disease challenges alongside an awareness of biosecurity applications and protocol. You must be confident in approaching a variety of customers and building long lasting trusted partnerships offering technical support and industry awareness.
Ultimately, you will be passionate about our industry, and keen to ensure as much of the market as possible is aware of our products and their benefits and encourage its use.
You must have excellent communication skills, be enthusiastic about your work and products. You will be self-reliant, with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility as well as a team mentality, we have regular team catch ups and face to face meetings and often support or work alongside each other on opportunities.
