Mackinnon Bruce is partnering with a growing equipment manufacturer and service provider focusing on high-precision automated dispensing and single cell systems enabling downstream sample preparation across multiple applications including but not limited to Single Cell Omics, Proteomics, Cell Line Development, Cell Isolation and Organoid sorting.
We are now seeking an experience Global Product Manager to join the EMEA team and take full responsibility for the equipment/instrument portfolio focusing on downstream and commercialisation functions. This role can be Remote, Hybrid or on-site depending on your preference.
Key Responsibilities:
* Become the "CEO" of the instrument portfolio and take full responsibility for the success of the product’s performance from ideation through development, launch and commercialization.
* Work closely with customers to identify problems worth addressing and liaise with R&D and internal teams to address the issues with existing and new technology.
* Continually evaluate the market including trends, customer needs and competitors to best place the portfolio and develop go-to-market strategies for new products.
* Establish a portfolio vision, and align product roadmaps with the company strategy.
* Set and maintain appropriate pricing, taking into account the competitive situation, the cost of goods and the fair value of the product.
* Manage the product through its life cycle, initiate product care activities, plan and execute obsolescence and replacements.
* Work closely with the existing and growing sales teams to provide continuous and relevant training.
* Liaise with Global Service and Application teams to create trainings plans for onboarding customers and create a good customer experience, right from the beginning
* Keep touch with customers to collect Voice of the Customer feedback about their long-term experience with the product.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Marketing, or a related field.
* Proven track record of at least 5 years experience in Product Management or similar role within Biotech or Life Science industries.
* Ideally 3 years experience within a scientific position or similar
* Knowledge of single cell and/or 3D cellular model market is a strong plus
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
* Ability to travel locally and internationally as required to meet with clients and visit company offices and R&D sites (up to 25%)
