Mechanical Fitter / Workshop Engineer / Mechanical Engineer required to join a leading electromechanical engineering manufacturer based in Grimsby.\n\nThe Successful Mechanical Fitter / Workshop Engineer / Mechanical Engineer will provide service, maintenance, repair of electromechanical pumps, motors, gearboxes, generators, electric motors and similar at the workshop in Sheffield.\n\nThe Mechanical Fitter / Workshop Engineer / Mechanical Engineer will have a good electromechanical engineering background ideally in rotating equipment such as generators, pumps, valves, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, compressors, generators, gearboxes or similar electromechanical / rotating machinery products or systems.\n \nPackage\n\n£30,000 - £38,000\nOvertime\nAnnual bonus\nPension\nAdditional benefits\n Mechanical Fitter / Workshop Engineer / Mechanical Engineer role:\n\nWill provide service, maintenance, repair of electromechanical pumps, motors, gearboxes, generators, electric motors and similar at the workshop near Sheffield.\nWill also carry out electrical fault finding, testing, and wiring of electromechanical products such as pumps, valves, electric motors, and more, ensuring all components are correctly fitted and operational before delivery.\nIdentify machinery damage and conduct basic electrical testing.\nAbility to complete technical documentation as work is progresses.\nTo perform other duties as assigned from time to time and liaise with various engineering departments. \nMechanical Fitter / Workshop Engineer / Mechanical Engineer Requirements:\n\nExperience as a rotating equipment engineer, pump engineer, pump fitter, fitter, hydraulic fitter, hydraulic engineer, valve technician, installation engineer, pump installation engineer, mechanical fitter, electro-mechanical fitter, mechanical engineer, service engineer, electrical engineer, workshop engineer, service technician or similar.\nGood electromechanical engineering background such as wiring, circuitry, pumps, gearboxes, valves, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, compressors, generators, or similar electromechanical / rotating machinery products or systems.\nWill ideally have the experience and ability to conduct testing and control checks on electromechanical rotating machinery.\nAn engineering qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous would be advantageous.\nWillingness to commute to the workshop near Sheffield
