We are seeking a dedicated Underwriting Assistant to join our dynamic team, working across both our company and Lloyd's business. In this role, you will be part of our Crisis Management division, underwriting a range of business lines. Aviva is a market leader in the insurance industry. With the recent acquisition of Probitas 1492, we are expanding our Crisis Management division across multiple distribution channels. A bit about the job: As an Underwriting Assistant, you will be crucial to the future success and growth of our Crisis Management portfolio. You will support the underwriting process for Accident and Health, Contingency, and Political Violence and Terrorism classes of business. Your responsibilities will include administering accurate and timely data logging onto relevant systems along with maintaining user-defined databases for our underwriting unit. You will assist in resolving transactional data management issues (e.g., cash allocations, reinsurance data entry) within SLAs and will support various month-end procedures as directed. You will also be responsible for assisting the Head of Division in developing cross-sell data management strategies while providing timely underwriting support to the team.
