As a Resident Engineer at ISS, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality facility services that uphold the fabric and appearance of buildings. Job Description Based on a static site, you will be responsible for executing the maintenance operations in place, including mechanical, electrical, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and fabric-related tasks.
You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary Building Services Team, with your daily duties guided by the Technical Services Account Manager and coordinated through the Facilities Helpdesk.
This role requires a proactive approach to ensuring the smooth operation of maintenance services and responding promptly to site needs.
As part of the on-call response team, you will contribute to maintaining operational excellence, providing reliable support to meet both planned and reactive maintenance requirements.

* Support the achievement of a ‘Best in Class’ approach to Engineering, PPM and Fabric services including those provided through supplier organisations.
* Carry out Planned Maintenance as instructed by the ISS Contract Management Team
* Become competent in the operation of the sites Building Management and Planned maintenance computer systems.
* Carry out reactive maintenance services within the static site, main shopping centre and special premises department as instructed by ISS Contract Management Team
* Liaise with Contractors, giving assistance when needed
* Oversee the working of Contractors as is required by the ISS Contract Management Team
* Respond to site emergencies as requested by the ISS Contract Management Team
* Carry out caretaker functions to vacated shop units
* Maintain all Logbooks and site records
* Maintain in a safe and workable condition all equipment issued on loan by the Centre
* Comply with the ISS and Unibail-Rodamco-Westfields Health and Safety policy

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
* City & Guilds Technical Qualification in Plumbing or Carpentry
* Technical Competence in either Electrical or Mechanical Discipline
* City & Guilds Technical Qualifications - / Electrical / HVAC / Mechanical
* Previous experience of building maintenance within a Facilities Management Service Provider background
* Experience in maintaining and repair central plant
* Previous experience of working in a busy demand led environment
* Previous experience of working with the Concept CAFM System
* Good organisational skills
* Good level of IT skills
* Good understanding of general H&S in the workplace
