Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated and hard working individual to join our friendly reception and administration team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a customer service setting,be willing to learn new skills and adapt to the quick paced environment of this inner city GP practice.
Previous experience working in General Practice would be ideal but not essential.
Main duties of the job
Daily tasks will include
1. Answering telephone calls
2. Welcoming and helping patients with queries
3. General office duties
4. Dealing with patient queries
5. Clinical coding
6. Summarising
7. Answering subject access requests
About us
Our clinical team consists of 5 GP partners, 6 salaried GPs, 4 Practice Nurses, 1
Our non-clinical team includes; Manging Partner, Finance Manager, facilitator, Deputy Practice Manager, and 8 reception/administrators.
The practice is also part of the Anfield and Everton Primary Care Network and we are supported by network staff including; Pharmacists, Paramedics, Social Prescribers, Care Co-ordinators.

Job responsibilities
8. Welcome Patients and visitors to the practice
9. Assist Patients on the phone, electronically and in person
10. Help to maintain the safety and comfort of Patients
11. Maintain records of appointments, financial transactions and other administrative duties
12. Keep Patient records accurate and up to date
13. Take part in recalls for Patient health checks
14. Maintain skills and undertake such training and development as may from time-to- time be required to maintain personal competency
15. Participate in all activities required by CQC registration
16. Comply with confidentiality protocols
17. Comply with all practice policies and procedures.
