At Paxton House, we support people between the ages of 18-35 with a range of needs including learning disabilities, behaviours that are perceived to be challenging, non-verbal communication, and/or autistic spectrum disorders.
Paxton House is a modern, bright, and well-equipped working environment based in Borrowash, just outside Derby.

* Waking nights 30 hours per week, will require weekend working.
* 9 pm to 7 am, 3 nights per week.

What you’ll be doing:
* Promoting independence with the people we support in all aspects of personal care, cooking, some cleaning, key working, and general life skills.
* Supporting people during the evening and night. This could involve making a mug of hot chocolate and having a chat or spending time with someone that is having problems sleeping.
* Other duties include night checks, deep cleaning, laundry, completing records, and writing reports.
* This role will involve lone working.
