We are searching for a Property Advisory specialist with PMO development and programme management experience to join our Asset Strategy team in Nottingham. Our Asset Strategy team specializes in providing expert advice to local and national organizations regarding their real estate assets. The team primarily works with public sector organizations, providing guidance, professional consultancy, and managing the delivery of strategic real estate programs.

Senior Consultant, Advisory - Asset Strategy

Role Overview
As a Senior Consultant, you will collaborate with the existing team to ensure the delivery of top-tier services by leading the management of large-scale real estate programs and complex projects. The role involves a hybrid working model, with 2-3 days per week at our Nottingham office, which features a central location and high-spec facilities.
Ideal candidates will have experience setting up PMOs and delivering programs to completion, with a bonus for prior public sector experience or real estate development and workplace transformation programs.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Partner with the team to deliver a top-class PMO function.
2. Manage large-scale, complex real estate projects or programs, primarily in the public sector.
3. Implement recognized project and program management methodologies.
4. Establish governance and assurance processes, monitor progress, and report risks and issues.
5. Build relationships with stakeholders and external parties.
6. Establish change control procedures and monitor adherence.
7. Track progress against milestones and strategic goals.
8. Capture lessons learned for continuous improvement.
9. Support Business Unit Directors in achieving business objectives.
10. Engage positively with clients, maintaining and growing relationships.
11. Ensure high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction.
12. Manage projects and programs in accordance with procedures.
13. Produce and present reports to clients.
14. Identify new business opportunities and contribute to growth.
15. Manage service delivery profitably.
About You
What we are looking for:
1. Post-qualification project or program management experience.
2. Knowledge of project management techniques.
3. Strong foundation in governance, quality assurance, and benefits realization.
4. Understanding of legislation affecting building contracts.
5. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
6. Methodical approach to work.
7. Ability to analyze complex information and assess requirements.
8. Problem-solving, negotiation, financial, and numeracy skills.
9. Proficiency in MS Outlook, Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
10. Ability to work in a team environment.
Qualifications
MSP (Managing Successful Programmes) qualification is beneficial; other project, real estate, or construction qualifications are also of interest.
