Job summary Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse Full Time Post Cardiology Ward The Ward has a ten bedded CCU, 20 cardiology ward beds, two cath labs and two day case units. This allows us to provide Primary PCI 24/7 and the NSTEMI service. Applicants should have: A proven track record of clinical and professional experience. Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. Willingness to develop your leadership skills and have a teaching and assessing qualification Ability to demonstrate, at interview, cardiology knowledge and skills to be able to care for cardiology patients. Ideally you will have postgraduate Cardiac Care qualification or equivalent and either current ALS provider certificate or with the ability to complete within 6 months of commencing post. You must be able to demonstrate clinical assessment and ECG interpretation skills and clinical knowledge to safely care for patients who require specific cardiology clinical support and care.
