Location: Hinkley Point C (HPC) Project Salary: £40,000 - £65,000 per annum

DATS Recruitment are seeking experienced and self-motivated Document Controller’s to support an Electrical & Mechanical installation project on the Hinkley Point C Nuclear New Build Project.
Role Overview:
The Document Controller will be responsible for managing a small team of specialist resources to ensure efficient control, filing, sorting, and retrieval of project documentation. The role is crucial in supporting technical teams, construction teams, and various departments by maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely access to information.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee document control processes and ensure compliance with company, client, and industry guidelines.
* Manage the storage and organisation of both hard copies and electronic documentation.
* Support technical projects and departments by cataloguing and storing technical drawings, reports, and other critical information.
* Allocate and maintain the document control system for the project.
* Ensure accurate and precise electronic and hard copy filing for easy retrieval.
* Respond to requests for document retrieval, information searches, and general support in a timely manner.
* Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation.

Required Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in a Lead Document Controller role, preferably within the construction or engineering sector.
* Strong time management, prioritisation, and multitasking abilities.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
* Experience with document control software and collaboration tools such as ProjectWise, FieldView, SharePoint, or similar systems.
