Make your mark for patients
We are looking for a Medical Information Lead to join us in our UK & Ireland Medical Affairs team, based in our Slough, UK offices.
About the role
The medical information lead is responsible for handling medical information enquiries received from patients, healthcare professionals (HCPs) and other relevant stakeholders. These enquiries may be simple or complex, requiring the creation of a standard response document. Enquiries may be received from a variety of channels including phone, email and webform.

You will report into the Head of Medical Information for the UK & Ireland
What you’ll do
* Respond to medical information enquiries from patients, healthcare professionals (HCPs) and other relevant stakeholders in a timely manner and agreed timeframes.
* Collaborate with the global medical information team in the creation of SRDs and other globally led initiatives.
* Adapt and localise global SRDs for use in the UK and Ireland.
* Develop and maintain scientific expertise for assigned therapy area and assume responsibility for the provision of medical information support.
* Management of medical information enquiries for mature and locally approved products, and support across other therapeutic areas as needed.
* Support the out of hours vendor by providing product expertise and relevant training.
* Complete technical review of promotional and non-promotional documents in Source Clear for assigned therapy area.
Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills :
* Bachelor’s degree required (in a life sciences discipline or equivalent)
* Experience of medical information in the pharmaceutical industry or a hospital setting preferred.
* A good understanding of the regulations and codes applicable to the pharmaceutical industry in the UK and Ireland (e.g. ABPI, IPHA, EHPIA)
* Experience of providing exceptional customer service.
* Experience of working in a cross-functional environment where collaboration within the medical team and with other teams (e.g. sales, marketing) is necessary.
