Hutton Park Care Home is looking to recruit an Activities Co-ordinator (Bank contract).
Our privately-owned, luxurious care home based in the Scottish seaside resort of Largs provides high-quality care for 37 residents.
As Activities Co-ordinator, you will work closely with the Home Manager to plan and implement activities appropriate to the residents' needs and requests.
Activities Co-ordinator Contract:
£11.44 per hour
Bank Contract
Uniform provided
PVG paid
Onsite parking
Our Activities Co-Ordinators help our residents to socialise within the Care home and provide a variety of activities that cater for all tastes. You will be responsible for planning and initiating monthly rolling/individual programmes and encouraging residents to maintain pre-existing hobbies.
You will also encourage staff members, relatives, and friends to participate in the care home's activities, helping to create a positive atmosphere.
You will need to maintain full and accurate records of daily activities using appropriate documents.
As an Activities Co-ordinator, you will require the following experience and skills:
1. Proven ability to develop and organise a range of events/activities.
2. Friendly, creative, and confident.
3. Computer skills.
4. Genuine interest in working with the elderly.
5. Good communication and organisational skills.
6. Confident team player.
7. Ability to work on own initiative.
