The role Our operations analysts are part of collaborative, cross-functional teams united by an absolute focus on problem-solving, innovating, and delivering great customer outcomes. As an ops analyst in our trading team, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of our day-to-day operations. You'll have a brilliantly varied role working across the asset and trade lifecycle, including onboarding new assets, resolving trade exceptions, completing data analysis and fixing tricky customer problems. You'll work collaboratively with our other ops teams, alongside customer success, product owners and engineers. You'll be a proactive problem solver and a fast learner with a strong work ethic and tons of energy. On a typical day you will be… Working with fund managers and key market players to onboard new assets so customers can invest with us, alongside maintaining our existing investment universe Proactively investigating and taking ownership of trading exceptions relating to our investment and dealing systems. You'll ensure all issues are promptly resolved in line with regulatory and service-level agreements Helping to resolve customer queries and issues, using your skills in problem-solving and data analysis to get to the root cause of an issue and deliver fantastic customer outcomes Completing transaction reporting and ensuring accurate MI is shared with LSE, the FCA and fund managers Working effectively across a wide range of systems including Calastone, CREST, ICE, MongoDB and Python scripts Collaborating closely with your team and beyond, clearly communicating progress and blockers to ensure we complete our tasks efficiently and accurately You’ll be successful if you … Are a proactive self-starter who loves solving problems and making things happen Have good domain knowledge across investment platforms, assets and trading (including CREST and Calastone) - or if you don't, you're a fast learner who can get up to speed quickly Take a high level of ownership for delivering great client outcomes Are resilient and calm under pressure, thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic and collaborative environment with lots of change Are a collaborative team player with great communication skills, working effectively across teams to get the job done Have strong data analysis skills and are comfortable working with complex data sets, along with excellent attention to detail Are organised and take responsibility for managing your tasks and daily activities This role isn’t for you if: You rely on a lot of top-down direction.
