We are currently recruiting for a Structural Revit Technician to join our team.
YOUR NEW ROLE, WHAT'S INVOLVED?
Working on a variety of interesting projects encompassing Healthcare, Renewable Energy, Heritage, Commercial, Industrial, and Hospitality sectors.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Revit Technician to join a supportive and friendly team and to help develop and lead a team in the production of Revit Models and CAD drawings for all stages of design.
Working with an already established team of engineers and Revit/CAD technicians, you will:
* Produce and supervise coordinated 3D BIM models using Revit; preparing engineering models & drawings from sketches and design information.
* Work closely with key external stakeholders, clients, and colleagues from all parts of the WSP business to achieve multidisciplinary delivery outcomes.
* Use BIM technologies to prepare concise engineering drawings for key stages such as conception, planning, tender, building warrant, and construction.
* Fulfil Project Technician role – manage the drafting aspects of projects of varying complexity and size, actively driving collaboration.
WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:
* Gained a HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Civil or Structural Engineering.
* Experience in Building Structures as a Technician.
* Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
* Experience in the principles of ISO 19650, BIM templates, BEPs, and use of collaborative information management software.
* Experience in working with digital platforms, particularly BIM360 (Not essential, training will be provided).
* Gained strong, practical experience of using Revit in a similar building structures focused role.
* Proficiency at planning and organising workload.
* Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
* Excellent presentation skills.
* Familiarity with working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
* Experience of working on a range of projects across various sectors.
