Warehouse Operations Manager
Monday to Friday - 6am - 4pm
Flexibility around working hours required
£35,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Day to Day Duties
As a Warehouse Operations Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing and optimising warehouse and distribution operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and team development.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading, training, and coaching warehouse employees to enhance performance
* Managing all warehousing and distribution functions to meet operational targets
* Forecasting resource requirements, preparing budgets, and scheduling expenditures
* Developing and refining warehouse systems for product handling, storage, and inventory management
* Implementing process improvements to optimise workflow and efficiency
* Ensuring strict compliance with health and safety regulations
* Driving a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
Minimum Requirements:
* Minimum of five years’ experience in warehouse operations management within a fast-paced environment
* Proven leadership abilities with a track record of motivating and managing teams
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively
* Experience in stock control, inventory management, and operational planning
* Knowledge of quality assurance principles and continuous improvement methodologies
* Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and drive operational efficiencies
* In-depth understanding of health and safety standards within a warehouse setting
* Experience conducting appraisals and performance management reviews
* Experience working within time-critical logistics, dangerous goods, or high-value consignments
* Familiarity with TAPA certifications and supply chain security protocols
* Knowledge of bonded warehouse operations and HMRC compliance
* Continuous improvement training (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
