The Role:
As Head Pastry Chef, you will lead the pastry section with passion and precision, curating a dessert offering that reflects the refined, coastal elegance of Sale e Pepe Mare. From classics reimagined to signature creations, your work will play a key role in defining the sweet side of our guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a world-class pastry menu rooted in Italian tradition and seasonal ingredients
Lead and inspire the pastry team, ensuring consistency and creativity in every dish
Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and senior leadership on menu development
Oversee all pastry operations, including prep, plating, hygiene, and compliance
Manage inventory, cost control, and supplier relationships
Train and mentor junior pastry chefs, fostering a culture of excellence
What Were Looking For:
Proven experience as a Head Pastry Chef or Senior Pastry Chef in a premium hospitality setting
Expertise in Italian and Mediterranean desserts, with a flair for innovation
A hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-end environments
Strong attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for presentation
Excellent team management, communication, and organisational skills
