Leisure Club Manager – Silverdale Holiday Park Holgates Holiday Park Silverdale is situated directly on the Morecambe Bay coastline with sweeping views across the bay out towards Morecambe and Grange-over-Sands. Set on the Lancashire/Cumbria border on the outskirts of Carnforth, these parks provide an idyllic location whilst still being close to major transport links, as well as the towns and cities of Lancaster, Kendal and the Lake District. Silverdale Holiday Park offers both holiday home ownership and holiday hire in caravans, glamping pods, with touring/camping options. It hosts a variety of facilities including bar,, restaurant, the Leisure Club outdoor children’s play areas, bowling alley and games room and shop. Who are we looking for? We’re looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic Leisure Club Manager who will take day to day responsibility of the Leisure Club. You will set and maintain high standards, leading the team. You will be hands on and lead by example to make sure all leisure Club guests receive a 5-star service. What hours will I work: 40 hours each week, to include evenings, weekends and school holidays Location: North Lancashire, south Cumbria region Rate: Negotiable dependent on experience. Who will you report to? Complex Manager Main Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day management of the Leisure Club, ensuring high standards of service and facility maintenance Lead, motivate, and support a team of leisure staff Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests Manage health and safety protocols, including lifeguard and first aid requirements Assist in the development and implementation of leisure club activities and events Qualifications / Experience: Essential Proven management experience within a Leisure Club or similar setting National Pool Plantroom Operators Qualification NPLQ Level 2 or equivalent lifeguard qualification Current First Aid at Work certificate Strong Customer service experience Good numeracy and literacy skills Excellent adaptability, flexibility and attention to detail Desirable A teaching qualification that would enable you to teach lifeguarding and First Aid.
