Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated Supply History Teacher to cover short-term and long-term absences within our partner schools. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of the history curriculum and a passion for inspiring students to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver engaging and effective history lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
2. Adapt teaching methods and resources to meet the varying needs and abilities of students.
3. Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
4. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support where necessary.
5. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a consistent and high-quality educational experience.
Requirements:
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
7. Strong knowledge and understanding of the history curriculum.
8. Previous teaching experience in a secondary school setting is preferred.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively and build positive relationships with students.
11. Must currently reside in the UK and have the right to work in the UK.
12. Possession of a valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
