What Will Be Your Environment:
The Hazelwood site is in a beautiful rural location with state:of:the:art Research and Development facilities.
What Youll Do:
As an Automotive Engine Build Technician you will deliver safe, timely, cost effective, and quality testing.
The European Testing Facility at Hazelwood is a 24/7 operation which predominantly develops and tests additives for fuels and lubricants for the Automotive Industry.
A wide variety of tests are run to determine the performance and durability of our additive packages i.e. Heavy Duty and Passenger Car engines, driveline components and bespoke test rigs for industrial applications.
In this role you will required to build and strip automotive diesel and gasoline engines to tight tolerance and follow procedures.
Youll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing and enhance modern life.
What Were Looking For:

Preparation of test components for assembly, to include inspection and measurement

Building and preparing test engines to a high quality and consistent standard

Installing, de:rigging and strip diesel and gasoline test engines
:
Initiate repairs to test installations as required
:
Suggesting improvements and the implementation of these improvements with a proactive and creative approach
:
Complying with company HS and E policies, practices and procedures and suggest areas for improvement
:
Interacting appropriately with immediate work groups and be an active team player

Be NVQ level 2/3 trained or equivalent and have proven experience
