An exciting opportunity as a Guest Relations Officer has become available to join the team at Carnoustie Golf Links, as part of the Guest Relations team of our prestigious golf course.
This is a fixed-term position, ending 31st October 2025. During this time, the successful applicants will work up to 40 hours a week at £11.44 per hour. In this role, evening and weekend work will be expected throughout your employment.
Working under the Head of Customer Experience and the Guest Relations Supervisor, the normal duties of this role may include, but are not limited to:
Guest Services
1. Answering & forwarding telephone calls
2. Receiving and distributing post and parcels
3. Share local knowledge of other tourist destinations and give directions
4. Manage general enquiries using knowledge of our courses, facilities and local amenities
5. Meet & Greet; direct foot traffic as appropriate and assist with arrival/departure process of visitors
6. Checking in all visiting golfers
7. General reception duties direct visitors with appointments to relevant person and/or meeting room, monitor logbook, keep atrium clean and tidy
8. Organise golf rental goods as requested
9. Liaise with Caddie Master in relation to all aspects of the caddies role
10. Prepare and print pin sheets for Championship & Buddon Courses
Season Ticket Holder Services
1. Assist with all aspects of Season Ticket Holder Bookings
2. Maintain and update all Season Ticket Holder Information
3. Process new Season Ticket Holders
4. Send/receive emails
