Our established one-year programme offers successful applicants the chance to be part of an innovative public sector organisation, experience responsibility and a variety of work activities while gaining an industry recognised qualification.\n\nApprentices on this 12 month programme will be assigned to the Service Delivery team and undertake an IT Support Specialist qualification delivered in partnership with QA Apprenticeships. Over your 12 month placement, you will gain hands-on, practical experience in an IT support role within a public-sector organisation to expand and develop your transferable skills. This role offers an excellent entry point for individuals seeking a career in IT.\n\nYou will provide administrative and technical support to business areas across SQA and communicate with other teams and external customers.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nProviding a high level of customer service, by responding to queries quickly and accurately, and building and maintaining positive customer relationships. \nFollowing administrative procedures and using Microsoft applications and organisational systems. \nContributing to continuous improvement initiatives by reviewing and recommending improvements to administrative and technical procedures and systems. \nMaintaining confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information, ensuring information is up to date, stored securely and readily accessible. There are no formal entry requirements for this role however an interest in the IT sector would be beneficial.
