Job summary The role will be required to provide effective administrative support to the Mental Capacity and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS team) at Somerset NHS Foundation Trust. The primary purpose of the role is to ensure that activity in relation to DoLS across the trust is accurately recorded and monitored, and that our statutory notification duties are met. A range of other administrative tasks to support the teams work will also be required. Main duties of the job Enter data from referrals made by the trust quickly and accurately into spreadsheets. Use an online portal to record outcomes of referrals. Liaise with partner organisations to make sure records of incoming and outgoing referrals align. Ensure follow up where needed. Generate data from spreadsheets using filtering and graphs etc to support the team's work. Manage the single point of contact inbox and deal with day-to-day correspondence, initiating appropriate responses to provide staff and other parties with required information in a friendly and professional manner. Filter messages on behalf of members of the team, taking appropriate action where necessary.
