This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on St Lukes campus in Exeter, and some from home.

Puremind Project Manager
Are you passionate about revolutionizing mental healthcare for people with neurodiversity? Join PUREMIND, an EU funded study with a world leading team. We are seeking a project manager to join our team to work in the team to create the first Integrated Mental Healthcare Ecosystem (IMHE) that will transform the way we predict, identify, and prevent Mental Health Disorders (MHDs) in children, adolescents, and young adults with neurodiversity conditions. The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in the success of Puremind. The Project Manager will be required to work in close collaboration with the research team, to manage the multi-partner, multi-disciplinary activities of the project to deliver its vision and objectives. They will be expected to demonstrate decision-making and take the lead with minimal supervision. The project’s network and stakeholder management require professional management and the post holder will be able to demonstrate autonomy and initiative in doing so. They will have overall responsibility of project reporting including risks, finances, communications, event management, impact activities, compliance, and engagement with the EU
Summary of the role
The post holder will take responsibility for planning, management, co-ordination, and delivery of activities including budget control and allocation, monitoring and engagement with the Puiremind team, external partners and stakeholders and wider network. The post holder will also work with relevant teams and colleagues in the Puremind consortium, and Exeter Innovation, Research Services Cluster, Health and Life Sciences and the Faculty of Environment, Science and Economy (Business School) to provide an excellent level of management to Puremind.
The post holder will be required to:
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders and external partners.
- Assist the research team in the development of the research where collaboration opportunities with industry and academia are identified.
- Oversea data management and timely reporting and submission of the research project.
- Create and manage governance structures.
- Oversee the facilitation of workshops; events; meetings; external visits to partners; wider regional networking with the research and user community.
- Maintain control of the project’s budget by managing resource allocation accordingly.
- Oversee contracts and agreements with the funder(s) and partners.
- Oversea recruitment procedures and processes.
- Provide updates to the research team ,.
Have a demonstrable track record of project management in a HE/industry/ health environment is essential. Having experience of partnership development and academic collaboration in a HE/industry/ health is also essential.
