With over 40 years of trading experience and a wide range of services, including HGV security systems, van conversions, and other vehicle solutions, they are looking for a driven professional to take charge of sales, account management, and customer relations. As the Commercial Business Development Manager / Account Manager, your responsibilities will include: Sales management—managing and expanding the company’s portfolio of LCV and HGV clients, typically professionals like skip company owners and HGV drivers. Account management—building long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring satisfaction with our services. Project coordination—planning, scheduling, and overseeing jobs, ensuring they are completed on time and meet client expectations. Invoicing—managing invoicing for all completed projects, ensuring accuracy and timely submission. Client meetings—while predominantly office-based (90%), you’ll occasionally visit clients to scope out projects or maintain relationships. Quoting—working closely with the operations team and the business owner to assist with quoting and pricing for larger projects. About You as a Business Development Manager: Automotive Industry Sales experience is essential—ideally within the LCV or HGV sectors so you’re familiar with the customer base and their specific needs. Strong account management and relationship-building skills are crucial. Experience with project management, from initial contact through to job completion, is highly desirable. A self-starter with a proactive attitude, capable of making this role your own and leaving a lasting impact. Familiarity with automotive-related sales will be a distinct advantage.
