You will be working full time, 40 hours per week, at Cygnet Fountains, helping provide a safe and healthy environment for the people in our care.
Cygnet Fountains is a high support inpatient rehabilitation (level 2) service for men who have severe and enduring mental illness and who may have been detained under the Mental Health Act. The individuals we support come to us following multiple placement breakdowns, failed treatment programmes, or stepping down from secure settings.

Key responsibilities include:
1. Provide a comprehensive maintenance and repair service.
2. Carry out tasks including basic joinery, plumbing, painting, and general building work.
3. Maintain plant, services, and vehicles in working order.
4. Comply with safe working practices and report faulty equipment and potential hazards.
5. Travel to other sites and be on call for emergency repairs outside of normal hours.
6. Check fire alarm points weekly, including fire exits, door retaining devices, and fire emergency lights.

You are...
* Experienced in painting and decorating both indoors and outdoors.
* Willing to travel and hold a full valid driving license.
* Able to communicate effectively and record detailed maintenance information.
* Skilled in DIY and general maintenance.
* Preferably Level 2 Diploma qualified in Painting & Decorating or Maintenance.
* Friendly, conscientious, and a positive team player.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
