Our client is seeking a Legal Secretary to assist them with the day to day running of cases within their Family department. The successful candidate will be capable of providing strong administrative support within a legal practice.

Key Responsibilities:

o Answering the phone
o Greeting clients
o Scanning and filing documents
o Preparing file opening, including client care documents
o Closing and archiving files
o Processing payment request forms
o Drafting of simple letters and dictation of audio files
o Data input
o Carrying out ad hoc tasks for fee earners, including preparing sales packs, downloading official copies, tracking changes to documents, drafting HMRC forms and preparing bills
Experience and Skills Requirements:
1. 2. Excellent time management skills
3. Experience working within an office environment
4. Experience of family law would be advantageous
5. Commitment to client care and providing high levels of service
6. Strong attention to detail, including punctuation, spelling and formatting in accordance with company standards
7. Good IT skills, including experience with Microsoft Office programmes
8. Awareness of the legal market
