We are looking for experienced or enthusiastic Healthcare Assistants to join our team!
What does the role entail?
• Personal care: Supporting residents with personal care and hygiene, including washing, dressing and assisting to the toilet, taking into consideration their level of independence and adjusting your approach appropriately.
• Hydration and nourishment: Assisting residents during mealtimes, keeping them refreshed and hydrated by providing drinks throughout the day and ensuring that they are offered snacks and nourishment between meals or when requested.
• Deliver High Levels of Care: Assist the Seniors and managers as required, liaising with other members of the team to ensure that residents receive an excellent standard of care.
• Documentation: Accurately maintain daily records and care plans, ensuring all documentation is up to date in line with regulatory requirements, and effectively reflects the care needs of each individual.
• Promote Autonomy and Independence: Support residents in making choices that reflect their personal wellness and daily living, ensuring they feel valued for their contributions to society, both past and present.
• Adherence to Professional Standards: Uphold the highest standards of care, ensuring compliance with Salveo Care policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
What skills, qualifications or attributes do I need?
• Strong Communication Skills: The ability to communicate effectively and confidently with elderly residents, their families, and the care team.
• Experience and Training: While experience in a similar role is welcome, comprehensive training will be provided.

Cherry Tree House is a multi-award winning private care home situated in the beautiful and quiet residential area of Wendover. Cherry Tree House has a wonderful reputation for providing the highest levels of care to residents in a welcoming and relaxed environment. The home provides residential and mild dementia care for up to 20 people.
