OUR ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT WORK We are increasingly partnering with local authorities and other stakeholders in the delivery of complex energy planning commissions across the England, Wales and Scotland. This includes: · Net Zero Strategies & Roadmaps (e.g. Area-based future decarbonisation pathways) · Energy Planning (e.g. Local Areas Energy Plans) · Heat & Retrofit (e.g. District Heating, Retrofit Strategies) · Energy Modelling (e.g. whole-system, technology specific) · Carbon Accounting (e.g. Business decarbonisation, circular economy) ABOUT THE ROLE Location: Remote (all UK locations considered) with flexible working arrangements. Our flexible office collaboration spaces, for those wishing to use them, are in London, Bristol and Exeter. The ideal candidate will be an ‘all-rounder’ and be enthusiastic to get involved in all aspects of our consultancy offering. This can include research, report writing, outreach/engagement (e.g. workshops), analysis and modelling. We want someone who is passionate about accelerating decarbonisation. You will possess a bachelor’s degree in a subject that has transferable skills for consultancy. Whilst preferred, our search is not limited to STEM degrees. If you can demonstrate strong skills in key consultancy competencies (e.g. report writing, research), and you have a passion for decarbonisation, then you may be a good fit.
