Part of the role will be to provide supervision to junior staff to the wider substance misuse team and to receive supervision as directed (line management) as well as providing peer support and training. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic practitioner with a real interest in forensic mental health and substance misuse and whilst experience in a forensic setting is desirable, it is not essential. Our aim is to identify staff with a strong belief in recovery and who are comfortable working closely with forensic prisoners. This type of setting will provide challenges and it is important that you have good understanding of caring for patients with acute mental health backgrounds. You will be approachable, energetic and resilient. You will be joining a team committed to improving the health and wellbeing of patients under our care and also supporting your professional development. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills within offender health and work closely within a multi-agency team to improve practice and overall experience for the service users.
