Responsibilities
As a Family Locum Solicitor or Legal Executive, you will be responsible for handling a diverse caseload of purely private paying family matters. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality legal advice and representation to the clients, ensuring their best interests are protected throughout the process. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to
* Conducting legal research and providing accurate and comprehensive advice on various family law issues
* Preparing legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and court forms
* Representing clients in court hearings and other family law proceedings
* Assisting clients in negotiations and mediation sessions to reach amicable settlements
* Maintaining meticulous case records and documentation
* Communicating with clients, opposing counsels, and relevant stakeholders professionally and efficiently
* Upholding confidentiality and ethical standards in all aspects of the role

Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria
* Qualifications: A qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a valid practicing certificate in England and Wales, specializing in family law
* Experience: Demonstrable experience in handling a variety of family law cases, ideally in a private paying capacity
* Expertise: Strong knowledge of relevant family law legislation, procedures, and best practice
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts to clients in a clear and understandable manner
* Time Management: Effective time management skills to handle multiple cases and deadlines efficiently
