You’ll be part of Continuous Improvement – UKE where you, together with your colleagues, will cultivate a culture of continuous improvement to help us realize our strategic ambitions. As part of a team of six, you’ll drive the maturation of the continuous improvement culture across UK East Generation. In this role, you’ll actively contribute to further developing and embedding our Operations Production System, facilitating value improvements, and coaching frontlist staff in Lean methodologies. This is an exciting time to join UK East Hub when we are going through a transformation as part of Generation 3.0. Working with a broad group of stakeholders you will help facilitate a wide range of improvements whilst building internal capability.
You’ll play an important role in:
* Driving the business improvement plan defined in collaboration with key stakeholders across the core value streams.
* Embedding daily management practices while coaching leaders in implementing and sustaining leadership standard work.
* Implementing continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Kata) to drive a culture of operational excellence.
* Providing training, coaching, and mentoring in a range of lean tools and techniques.
* Engaging and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in for continuous improvement efforts.
* Ensuring knowledge transfer of lean tools and techniques to increase continuous improvement capabilities within the organization.
To succeed in the role, you:
* Have demonstrable experience in delivering lean implementations, process improvements, or continuous improvement interventions.
* Have experience with kata coaching, value stream mapping, and daily management as an advantage.
* Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex challenges.
* Demonstrate expertise in project and change management, coupled with strong stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels.
* Embrace improvement and innovation skills to optimize processes and drive lasting impact.
* Have past experience in supply chain management and warehousing as an advantage.
