The hours are to be worked Monday to Friday, however there is an expectation of flexibility which could include Saturday.

What we’re looking for:
The successful candidate will be a logical thinker with excellent communication skills. The post holder must be able to organise their own workload within defined guidelines. It will be important that they are a good team player, are also able to work independently and most importantly work efficiently and accurately. We are looking for candidates who are able to use their initiative, be proactive and contribute to improving current working practices. The successful candidate will also need advanced PAS skills as this is a key element of this role. The position is Trust wide and travel between hospital sites is a requirement of the role.
Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 18 Week Data and Performance Coordinator to support the trust in ensuring that all patient data held on the Patient Administration System (PAS) is accurate and supports the correct application of the 18 week patient pathway.
This is a permanent post that reflects the Trust’s commitment to achieving & sustaining the 18 Week Referral to Treatment target.
The post holder will assist with the delivery of the 18-week referral to treatment standard by supporting, informing and educating all staff groups across the Trust on the 18-week referral to treatment (RTT) clock rules and data collection rules. The post holder will assist the Operations Manager and the 18 Week Lead in ensuring that 18 week guidance is adhered to. The post holder needs to ensure the deadline for monthly submission of data relating to admitted, non-admitted pathway and incomplete pathways activity is met.

Qualifications
* Qualified to ‘A’ Level / NVQ Level 3 standard OR equivalent experience as noted below
* NVQ Level 3 / 4 or equivalent in health or social care (or equivalent)
* Advance Excel
Skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Listening, negotiating and report writing skills
* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
* Tactful and diplomatic at all times
* Experience of performance work
* Knowledge of access targets within the NHS
* Experience of performance work such as 18 weeks / clinical outcomes
Previous Experience
* Experience of working in an administrative setting
* Working in a pressurised environment with day-to-day responsibility for producing reports
* Experience of finding solutions to complex problems
* Experience of data collecting and presentation of information
* Experience of working with people in a patient or customer environment
* Experience of developing policies and procedures
* Delivering training to a wide range of staff
Specific Requirements
* Understanding of the structure of an NHS organisation
* Readiness to try new things
* Excellent understanding of the importance of information and clinical governance.
