This position is part of the Engineering team, based in Cramlington Global Centre for Hose Manufacturing. WHAT TO EXPECT Working full-time from our Cramlington facility, the Electrical Engineer will plan and implement the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment and to improve equipment performance. Key responsibilities: Develop and adhere to engineering protocols to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, 18001, and 50001 standards. Oversee the installation of new equipment, including training key personnel. Coordinate the repair or replacement of malfunctioning electrical equipment. Diagnose equipment failures to pinpoint root causes and implement effective corrective measures. Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site, focusing on health and safety, quality, and operational efficiency. ABOUT YOU Required Experience: Qualified to HND/Degree level or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Applications will also be considered for suitably qualified engineers. Minimum 5 years relevant experience in a similar senior engineering position within a Manufacturing facility. Required Skills: A logical approach to problem solving and an ability to make decisions under difficult circumstances, explaining rationale when required. Self-motivation and an ability to work with minimum supervision. Knowledge and understanding of relevant electrical safety standards, codes, and industry best practices.
