Are you an experienced commercial leader with a strong background in the defence sector? Do you thrive in customer-facing roles, driving commercial strategy and leading high-performing teams?
We’re seeking a Head of Commercial to lead and shape a key business area within Digital & New Business. You’ll oversee a team of Commercial Managers & Senior Commercial Managers, playing a critical role in developing strategic partnerships and securing new opportunities within the defence landscape.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Leading a commercial function focused on digital transformation and new business growth
* Managing and mentoring a team of Commercial & Senior Commercial Managers
* Driving complex contract negotiations, bids, and customer relationships
* Partnering with internal and external stakeholders to shape commercial strategy
* Ensuring compliance with defence contracting frameworks and regulations
What We’re Looking For:
* A proven leader with significant commercial experience in the defence sector
* Strong background in customer-facing roles – engaging with key stakeholders and negotiating complex deals
* Expertise in defence contracting, risk management, and commercial strategy
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a focus on digital innovation and business growth
* Experience leading and developing high-performing commercial teams
