Buying Administrator
Location: East Midlands, Leicestershire, City of Leicester
Job Type: 5 month Contract, Full-Time
Salary: £25,000 Per annum
The Job:
* Following procurement policies and procedures
* Support the Procurement Team in delivering training to staff on procurement practices and use of the purchase request/purchase order system
* Sourcing and purchasing a diverse range of products and materials
* Build positive working relationships within the business
* Support in all areas of procurement including negotiating contracts and commercial terms with suppliers.
* Ensure that all departments are fully informed of preferred suppliers
* Identify and research potential new suppliers
* To ensure all procurement related queries are dealt with efficiently
* Raising purchase requests as required.
* Setting up new suppliers
The Candidate:
* Proven experience in a similar buying or procurement role
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Be Immediately Available or on Short Notice
The Job:
* Salary £25,000 per annum
* 5 month Fixed Term Contract
