About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Site Electrician to join a professional maintenance team working on a single site in Glasgow. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in electrical maintenance, installations, or repairs, who are looking for a stable, long-term position with professional development opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and efficiency of electrical systems on-site.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance on electrical systems.
* Ensure all electrical work complies with current regulations and safety standards.
* Assist with installations, refurbishments, and replacements as needed.
* Diagnose and resolve electrical faults to ensure continuous site operations.
* Carry out testing and inspection of electrical systems to ensure compliance.
* Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities.
* Support site management with technical advice and electrical safety guidance.
* Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies to maintain a safe workplace.
Who We’re Looking For
* Recognised electrical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent).
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (Essential).
* Experience working as an on-site Electrician, preferably within a facilities or industrial environment.
* Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills on electrical systems.
* Experience in planned and reactive maintenance within a building services environment.
