Responsibilities: Contribute to and execute an investor targeting programme which focuses on diversifying the current shareholder base, primarily targeting UK investors Help to develop investor-specific narratives and themes that can be discussed with investors which will position the fund in a differentiated manner relative to competitors Messaging input for press releases and other external communications based on investor feedback and close coordination with the broader team Ensure accuracy and validity of information that is disseminated to investors Liaise with the wider IR team and Funds administration team to ensure that questions and requests are handled in a timely fashion Take a proactive role in relationship building and capital raising efforts with existing and prospective investors Work closely with broker and corporate access provider around shareholder targeting Identify and manage an annual calendar of investor conferences, investment meetings, and regional roadshows. Develop a strong understanding of the firm's strategies, philosophy, and approach Requirements: An experienced sales and IR professional (minimum 8 years) working with investment trusts/closed-ended funds Established relationships with key buy side market participants Experience of private markets asset classes preferred An understanding of the IR role and the value it brings A proactive and motivated individual with outstanding client and stakeholder communication skills
