What the Job Involves The role involves the maintenance and repair of fleet vehicles and equipment in alignment with manufacturers' recommendations and legislative standards. You will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the workshop facilities, liaising with departments for optimal service delivery, and performing regular maintenance, including pre-MOT assessments. Your expertise includes diagnosing and repairing electrical vehicle issues, as well as providing support for roadside recovery when necessary. Responsibilities also include maintaining documentation and electronic systems, ordering and testing parts, and collaborating with fleet management to ensure cost-effective repairs while offering technical guidance and support. Your role extends to fostering positive working relationships, adhering to Authority policies, and promoting health and safety practices department-wide. Prompt reporting of any safeguarding concerns is required.
