Finance Business Partner (12 month FTC)
We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our UK Finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to work as part of our Income Business Partnering team, reporting to the Head of Finance Business Partnering.
The Role:
As Finance Business Partner, you will work with stakeholders to understand and explain the performance of key other income streams linked to our Car product, amounting to c.£350m of income per annum and you will be responsible for delivering robust forecasts and business cases.
There is a small aspect of month end reporting for other income linked to Van and Household products, as well as elements of month end accounting, including balance sheet reconciliations.
You will be a key link between product teams and financial reporting, ensuring to correctly capture changes to agreements in the actuals and future forecasts, along with reporting on Loss/Claims ratio performance across the various products.
We are always looking to develop and improve our processes, and you will be responsible for managing and driving some of this change.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
* Qualified Accountant with the relevant professional qualifications (CIMA / ACCA / ACA).
* Previous business partnering experience.
* Experience of presenting financial information to senior stakeholders and able to take a strategic perspective.
* Previous line management experience or coaching / mentoring others.
* Ability to challenge senior stakeholders and work collaboratively with teams across Finance and the wider business.
* Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
* Demonstrated experience of team leadership, developing, and empowering your colleagues to achieve required outcomes.

Location
This role is a hybrid working role with a requirement to attend our Cardiff office once per week. We will give you everything you need to work comfortably from home.
