Teaching Personnel is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming school in Selby. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teaching assistant looking to take on more responsibility and play a key role in supporting students’ learning and development.
Role Overview:
* Location: Selby
* Start Date: ASAP
* Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time available
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver planned lessons to classes in the absence of the teacher
* Provide targeted support to students, both one-to-one and in small groups
* Assist with planning and delivering engaging learning activities
* Support classroom management and maintain a positive learning environment
* Work collaboratively with teachers to enhance student progress
What We’re Looking For:
* HLTA qualification or extensive teaching assistant experience
* Confidence in leading classes and supporting learning across different subjects
* Strong communication and behaviour management skills
* A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting students’ needs
