Position Overview
As a Finance M&A Integration specialist, you will not only support the financial due diligence of prospective M&A opportunities, but you will also lead the financial integration into team.blue Group.
You will enjoy building and developing relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders across Europe.
Your responsibilities
* Review financial due diligence reports and agree with the M&A team on the finance remediation actions
* Review business plans produced by prospective acquisitions/M&A team, challenging commercial assumptions and ensuring adherence/alignment to team.blue financial accounting standards/Chart of Accounts.
* Alignment with commercial and portfolio leadership on actuals vs M&A budget and understanding key deviations
* Preparation and upload of historic financials to ensure accurate YoY reporting
* Working with M&A/Commercial/local finance to understand the hiring plan for recently acquired entities, supporting the local finance team in the creation of a headcount budget to be used for hiring approval.
* Understand cost synergies assumed in a business plan and ensure tracking and reporting are correctly implemented.
* Support recent acquisitions with the adoption of team.blue reporting requirements (month-end/forecasting/budgeting)
* Work with the local finance team to ensure finance remediation items are addressed (with emphasis on revenue recognition policies)
Skills and experience
* Accounting qualification
* Bachelor's degree (ideally finance, business or accounting)
* 2+ years experience in finance due diligence
* Financial modelling and analytical skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Self-motivated and ambitious.
* Ability to foster positive relationships in an international setting.
* Knowledge of subscription-based economics and experience in the IT sector are highly desirable.

The ideal candidate has a track record of reviewing, recommending, and implementing process and solution improvements. You should have an analytical mindset, thrive under pressure, and meet tight deadlines. Strong business acumen from previous roles and the ability to link operational processes to financial outcomes are essential.
