Job Description
* Overseeing the operations of the accounting department.
* Developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures.
* Preparing and presenting financial reports to the management team.
* Ensuring all financial operations comply with legal standards and company policies.
* Coordinating budgeting and planning processes.
* Working closely with external auditors and managing internal controls.
* Leading and mentoring a team of accountants.
* Participating in the continuous improvement of accounting processes.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Team Leader should have:
* A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
* Solid understanding of accounting and financial management principles.
* Proficiency in relevant accounting software and MS Office Suite.
