We're looking for a highly capable Engagement Manager to lead our Communications, Marketing and Community Engagement teams. This is a strategic role where you will very much have the opportunity and support to contribute to the delivery of our Council Plan 24-27, and work alongside our ambitious leadership team and elected members in the process. Heading up the Engagement team, you'll be working at the heart of the council, leading comms and marketing at such an exciting time for the district, and also continue our good work on community engagement whilst bringing a fresh perspective. In addition to the day to day running of these important services there is a focus on developing a customer experience strategy and reviewing our approach to community engagement. Another big focus is to lead on the alignment of health focussed partnerships, working collaboratively to support delivery of Happy and Healthy Communities, one of our priority policies. We recognise that our goals can only be achieved through a collaborative and joined-up approach with our local communities, stakeholders and partners, so working in partnership both internally and externally is key. The post is permanent and the hours of work for this position are 37 per week, but we will of course consider flexible working requests. This post is hybrid with a combination of attendance at onsite and online meetings, bookable workspaces and working from home.
