About the Role:
Our client, a respected legal practice based in Tring, Hertfordshire, is looking for a professional and efficient **Part-Time Legal Secretary** to join their team. This role will primarily support a newly appointed Family Solicitor but will also assist in the Conveyancing department as needed. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Family Solicitor.
- Assist the Conveyancing team during busy periods.
- Manage document preparation, including letters, emails, and legal forms.
- Maintain and organise client files and case records.
- Handle diary management and appointments.
- Respond to client queries in a professional and timely manner.
Key Requirements:
- Prior experience in a Family Law or Conveyancing department is preferred but not essential.
- Exceptional audio typing skills, with a minimum speed of 70 words per minute.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with solid IT and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and professionally.
