We have an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Health Technician to join our team. The vacancy is predominantly working on one client site in Folkstone, but there will be a requirement to travel further afield with prior notice and occasional overnight stays. You will ensure the delivery of class-leading service, conducting health surveillance, fitness for work health screening, and health promotion to clients. The work is delivered in a suitable room on client sites or from mobile screening units or RPS Clinics.
The salary for this role will be £25,000 - £27,000 per annum, with the option for overtime to take you to around £30,000 per annum.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Health Surveillance
* Audiometry and Spirometry
* Skin assessments and Hand Arm Vibration (Tier 1 & 2)
* Fitness for work medicals (i.e. driver, working at height medicals or vision screening)
* Drug & alcohol testing
* Wellbeing medical and health promotion
Who We’re Looking For
* Previous Occupational Health experience, including health surveillance and/or fitness for work medicals. Ideally previous experience of Rail medicals but full training will be provided.
* Able to complete overnight stays and extensive travel throughout the UK (overnight stays may be Monday – Friday depending on client requirements)
* Hold a full UK driving licence
* Competent IT user (MS Office suite and/or electronic medical records systems)
* Ability to work autonomously
* Great communication skills
