Recruitment Profile Scottish Borders Council are looking to recruit a highly motivated, qualified Social Worker to support the provision of good outcomes for children and young people in kinship care. The Kinship Care team is a newly created team which works with kinship carers and the children they care for from assessment through to on-going emotional, practical and financial support. The team is centrally based in Galashiels and works with kinship carers throughout the Scottish Borders and those placed out with the local authority area. Essential Appropriate social work qualification at degree or diploma level (DipSW). Registration with Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
