As a Security Officer with ISS, you will be at the forefront of creating a safe environment, protecting your colleagues and our customer's property, people, and assets by providing exemplary security operations.
The role will encompass security and customer service duties which must be delivered in line with both our customers and our own brand values.
You will be the first point of contact on-site so a courteous and professional manner is crucial at all times.
The Role
Provide a high quality Security/Reception control to staff, visitors, and contractors in accordance with SIA guidelines and ISS Company and Client specifications including:
1. Lock and unlock doors, offices and departments when and where specified
2. Monitor the CCTV system and highlighting breaches of security
3. Be constantly alert for any potential fire or other security risk and take preventative action as directed
4. Always ensure the safety of the site and everyone on it
5. Keep vigilant and identify any suspicious activities
6. Prevent any unauthorised access
7. Keep up to date with all the activity on site and have full knowledge of daily events
8. Create a positive, professional relationship with customers and colleagues with a can do attitude
9. Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures and ensure any breaches are reported
Work as part of a team and on your own depending on site requirements
About You
10. Previous security experience
11. A valid front-line security guarding, door supervision
12. Knowledge and experience with security systems and other related tech
13. Great attention to detail and a consistent approach
14. A team player with exceptional customer service skills
15. Experience in working in Security/Reception role in an office/professional environment
16. PC literate with knowledge of Microsoft word, excel, teams and e mails
17. Confident working with people at all levels
18. Good communication skills both verbal and electronic
