Role: Van Driver
Schedule: 5 out of 7 days including weekends
Location: Croydon
Hours: Start time 6am
Pay: £17.07 per hour / Overtime Pay: £23.63 per hour
Contract: Temp to Perm Contract
Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Van Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering goods and materials safely and efficiently. This role requires excellent driving skills, a keen sense of responsibility, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients. As a Van Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high standards of service.
Duties
* Safely operate a van to transport goods to various locations.
* Load and unload items, ensuring that all products are handled with care.
* Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time, location, and any issues encountered.
* Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and clients regarding delivery schedules and requirements.
* Assist in heavy lifting as needed during loading and unloading processes.
* Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
