We are seeking a skilled and proactive Fermentation Day Operator to take control of delegated operational tasks in fermentation and related upstream processes. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that fermentation and culture trains are maintained to the highest standard, managing cream loading, and providing operational support in upstream activities. Your tasks will involve a hands-on approach, from preparing fermentation batches to interacting with tanker drivers, ensuring all processes are completed on time, and maintaining detailed records. This is a temporary role which has the opportunity to be permanent.
Why You Should Apply
No two days will be the same here; you are likely to be challenged, and your skills strengthened and broadened! You really couldn’t ask for a more inclusive, understanding, and motivating environment, especially being surrounded by people you can rely on and learn from!
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or a related field, coupled with at least two years of proven experience in manufacturing, ideally within the food and beverage industry. You’ll need a solid understanding of fermentation and yeast manufacturing processes, as well as a commitment to continuous improvement and safety standards.
